A Quick Note About Affiliate Links
I wanted to take a moment to be fully transparent with you and explain how affiliate links work on my blog—because being honest with you is super important to me.
So… what’s an affiliate link?
Some of the links you’ll find in my articles are affiliate links. That means if you click on one and make a purchase or a booking, I might earn a small commission. The price stays exactly the same for you—it’s just a simple way to support my work at no extra cost.
Why do I use them?
Running this blog takes a lot of time (and coffee!). Between the trips, writing, photos, research, and managing the site, it’s a passion project that I love—but it also needs support to keep going.
These commissions help me:
- Keep the site up to date
- Create new content and helpful guides
- Test places, gear, and activities
- Keep exploring and sharing adventures with you
What do I actually recommend?
Only things I truly love or would use myself. Whether it’s a cozy forest cabin, a backpack I’ve tested in the rain, or an activity I fell in love with—everything is chosen with care. I’ll never recommend something just to earn a commission. That’s not my style.
Thank you!
Your support—whether it’s reading, sharing, or using one of those links—means the world to me.
So thank you for being part of the adventure. 🥾🌲
